The new issue of VMAN will hit newsstands on November 17th.

Back in August Taylor Lautner was photographed by Mark Seliger in Malibu. Today Rolling Stone is proudly flaunting its new cover featuring the young Hollywood actor.
"What Lautner has done is turn his love of martial arts into superstardom as werewolf Jacob in the Twilight series. “This could have happened to anyone who played Jacob,” Lautner tells RS. “It’s Twilight. It’s not me personally.” But his hard work is inescapable: he started learning karate at age six and moved on to Xtreme Martial Arts, relocating with his family to Los Angeles to pursue acting and stomaching the bullying that came along with it. He put on 30 pounds of muscle between the first two Twilight films. He found time to shoot the upcoming Valentine’s Day with Taylor Swift, with whom he “instantly clicked,” he admits. “Aside from being beautiful, she’s extremely funny, charismatic and fun to be around.” Read more at Rolling Stone.

Beth Ditto，当红朋克乐队Gossip的主唱，一个倡导女权主义、言辞锋利的同性恋者，一个在演出时把内裤抛向观众、走红地毯时露出屁股给狗仔队拍的疯女人。一个全裸登上《Love》杂志封面的体重超过200 磅的女人。
　　同样是这个Beth Ditto，当她坐上巴黎时装周秀场的第一排时，却变成了一个过分拘谨不安的女人。她毫不掩饰自己的少见多怪，别人对此也并不在意。他们安排她坐在Kanye West 和Pink 的旁边，把他引荐给Anna Wintour、KarlLagerfeld，以及她所出席的每场秀的设计师，并给他们拍合影。
　　这是Beth 第一次参加时装周，她此行的主要目的是担任Fendi 贵宾派对的表演嘉宾，同时她也受邀观看包括Chanel 在内的许多时装发布会。她很清楚，身为一名朋克歌手，参加巴黎时装周意味着某种腐坏。可这又有什么关系？
 

Q：你从小是个爱漂亮的姑娘吗？
　　A：小时候，大人们总想把我打扮成小公主，他们给我许多粉色玩具，那时候我恨透了粉色。我也是喜欢穿漂亮衣服的孩子，但我总是穿着它们在很脏的地方玩耍。相比之下，我现在已经很女性化了，而且我现在也喜欢上了粉色。
　　Q：在青少年时代，你是否为自己的身材而苦恼？
　　A：我总是对自己说：“我看起来美极了，与众不同。”当然，我并不是真的这么想。我每天都为自尊心而纠结。因为你和别人都不一样，如果你不对自己这么说，别指望人家会这么告诉你。如果你不爱自己，谁也不会来爱你。
　　Q：你是从什么时候开始关心时尚的？
　　A：我一直挺时髦的，念小学时，我是班上唯一一个知道Todd Oldham是谁的人。我喜欢芭比娃娃就是因为可以为她们变换造型。我曾在阿肯色州一家购物商场的松饼店打工，某天，在对面一家鞋店打工的孩子跑来对我说，如果我每天给他免费食物，他就送我一双鞋。就是那双黑色高跟鞋让我走进了时尚世界。
　　Q：你的朋克之路是怎么开始的？
　　A：如果你的身材跟我一样，又没什么钱，那么迷上朋克是很自然的，朋克让你觉得自己即使一无所有也可以与众不同。你敢穿着妈妈的晚礼服去上学。时尚就是这么来的。我遇到的许多设计师都有过类似的经历。
Q：在你看来，朋克精神和时尚是密不可分的吗？
　　A ：对极了。政治运动也是时尚运动。从1960年代的黑豹党（BlackPanthers），1970年代那些主张不戴胸罩的女权主义者，再到1990年代的暴女（Roit Grrrl），它们都是某种时尚宣言。
　　Q：所以对你来说，时尚也是某种个人宣言吗？
　　A：不，我享受时尚的乐趣。我是个爱打扮的女人，也喜欢收到免费的设计师时装。
　　Q：你演出时通常怎么穿？
　　A：我喜欢透气的面料、舒服的鞋子，还有色彩。造型师们总是为我准备很多黑色衣服，这让我厌倦透顶。
　　Q：你如何形成自己的穿衣风格？
　　A：我总是从自己身上获得灵感，许多易装明星也让我深受启发。我经常自己制作、修改衣服，或者去二手服装店淘旧衣。我的朋友Sarah Adams是我的穿衣顾问，我把自己的想法告诉她，她就把它们做出来。
　　我喜欢可爱又时髦的衣服。我会把半裙或者很大的T 恤当作连衣裙来穿。我相信好衣服就是好衣服。时尚最自欺欺人之处就是太看重设计师的名字。
　　Q：这些年来，你觉得人们对于胖瘦的观念是否有所改变？
　　A：前几年，我觉得情况有所好转，可现在又恶化了。衣服越来越窄，身边节食的人越来越多。不过，我的形象似乎已经得到了的肯定，我的乐队开始登上杂志，《Vogue》、《i-D》、《Nylon》、《Love》都找我拍时装大片。
　　而我只希望人们更加单纯而公平地看待身体，不要掺杂法西斯精神。 迷恋肥胖和迷恋消瘦同样愚不可及。
